Short version: this site collects anonymous visit analytics (country, browser, OS — no cookies, no advertising) and, optionally, an email address you submit to request my resume. No personal data is sold or shared.
Who I am
This is the personal portfolio website of Hadar Sapir, accessible at hadarsap.online. Questions about this policy can be directed to hadarsap@gmail.com.
What I collect and why
Email address (voluntary): if you enter your email in the resume request field, it is used solely to respond to your request. It is not stored in a database on this site.
Anonymous visit analytics: this site records anonymous page-view data on every visit. The data is stored in a Supabase database (hosted in the EU) and includes: approximate country and city (derived from your IP address via ipwho.is and ipapi.co), browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, page URL, approximate scroll depth, visit timestamp, and a randomly-generated session identifier. Your IP address is not stored — only the derived location. These third-party geo-IP services process your IP address transiently to return location data; please review their privacy policies for details.
This site uses no cookies and no advertising or cross-site tracking.
Legal basis (Israeli Privacy Protection Law, Section 11)
In accordance with Section 11 of Israel's Privacy Protection Law (1981), please note:
Purpose of collection: email addresses are collected solely to respond to your request. Anonymous visit analytics are collected for legitimate interest — understanding how the site is used — and contain no personally identifiable information.
Voluntary disclosure: you are under no legal obligation to provide your email address. Choosing not to simply means I won't be able to respond. Analytics collection occurs automatically on each visit; it does not identify you personally.
Data security: your email is handled with care and reasonable security measures. Analytics data is stored in a secured Supabase database with row-level access controls.
No sharing or selling: your email and analytics data are never sold, shared, rented, or disclosed to any third party beyond the infrastructure providers named above (Supabase, ipwho.is, ipapi.co).
Data retention
Your email is used only to reply to your specific request. It is not added to any mailing list or retained beyond that interaction.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you've submitted. To exercise these rights, email hadarsap@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will reflect it. This is a personal site with a minimal data footprint, so significant changes are unlikely.
